Designed for couples who crave unhurried moments together, this experience is an invitation to step away from schedules and noise and into something more restorative. Wake slowly in your Kingston or Somerset Cider Suite, wander the orchard paths, and let the estate set the rhythm. Your escape begins with a private in-room mindful soiree, as Marie Thomas of Mindful Yoga guides you through an hour of gentle movement and breathwork. As afternoon turns to evening, settle in with a curated dinner hamper crafted by our resident chef and paired with a vintage bottle from the estate - a simple, beautiful feast to enjoy at your own pace. Discover the creative spirit of the region with a two-hour pottery workshop in Molong, where you’ll shape your own piece on the wheel before it’s fired and sent to your home. Back at the estate, join our General Manager, Luisa Machielse, for tasting notes that explore Orange as a wine region from the heart of our Cellar Door. Mornings are slow and generous, with regional produce and artisan provisions to enjoy in-suite. Your experience also includes your choice of a $200 gift card to one of our award-winning local dining partners or a Borrodell Estate Dinner for two - a three-course with wine pairing (Saturday evenings). To extend your regional discovery, we’ve included a $50 voucher for The Beekeepers Inn in Vittoria, a beloved 1859 country stop perfect for a long lunch, local produce browsing, honey tasting or a gentle wander through the grounds. This is a celebration of connection - to place, to palate, and to each other. Ideal for anniversaries, milestones, or simply when life calls for a softer pace.

Explore the Region

To help you explore beyond the estate, we’ve pulled together some of our favourite local spots including walking trails, lakes, historic towns and cultural sites. You’ll also find our own curated hiking guide to help you experience the landscape at your own pace.

Nature & Land

Gaanha Bula / Mount Canobolas

Head up early for walking trails, cool air, and wide-open views across the region. It’s quiet, a little wild, and worth the early start.

Lake Canobolas

An easy go-to for paddle boarding, picnics, or a slow loop around the water. Stay a while and you’ll notice the details - birdlife, still water, the occasional echidna if you’re lucky.

Orange Botanic Gardens

A softer kind of exploring with winding paths, native plantings, and space to wander without a plan.

Culture & Food

Millthorpe

Best done slowly - a few shops, a long lunch, maybe a glass of wine by the fire.

Carcoar

One of the country’s oldest villages, where not much has changed, in the best way.

Molong

Small, local, and quietly full of character. Good for a potter about and a feel for the region.

Partners

At Borrodell, the guest experience is shaped not only by what we grow on the estate, but by the people and producers around us. We work with local makers, growers and artisans who share our commitment to quality, craft and community - from the products in your room to the food and wine you enjoy during your stay.
